Remembering the Black Liberation Movements Mosaic (2015)

Between 2008 and 2009, I participated in the Black Liberation Movements Mosaic, a research project that contrasted the South African anti-apartheid movement with the US civil rights movement in Mississippi. Following the program, I processed the resulting archival collection now housed Dickinson College‘s Community Studies Center (CSC), the organizing institution. Five years later, CSC hosted a 20th Anniversary celebration of the Mosaic education format, inviting program alumni to present their memories of their respective mosaics. I presented some of the moments that helped form me into the person.
